Wednesday: Aug 1st, Day One

Whoa what a day! Chrissy just laid down for a nap and
I have the Beatles playing on I-tunes. I got a bike,
so does Chrissy now. We had to take care of business
downtown, ID cards with the city, register our address
and establish a bank account. All done. I have my
schedule. On Saturday we go to Santo Seminar, a
summer camp in the mountains, a couple hours drive
away. There we will work with kids for the first
time. The week after that we have a week off. Chrissy and I will probably wonder around the region. I want to go to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but we may do that later.
She said she may want to go north, somewhere cooler
and less humid. Next week is the anniversary of the
bombings, they could have something special. We will
see.

Oh yeah, all doors are about 6 feet or less (exterior
doors are normal). But I will be lucky if I get out
without a series of concussions.
Take care.

Rex and Chrissy
