Hakata Ferry to Pusan

Schlepping bags will be the primary memory of our trek from Hiroshima to Pusan. The bags we had packed; two 20-kilogram bags per person, plus a computer bag, a personal carry-on bag and then sacks for our lunches as well as souvenirs, all revealed the weakness in our plan to escape Japan through Korea. Fortunately for us, the typhoon I had worried about the week before stalled over Taiwan before crossing into China where its energy was sapped. Our sail was smooth across the Strait of Korea, all except for schlepping bags of course.
