She came bearing gifts, too. Katsumoto and I picked Christina up at the airport last night at 7:30. There were a lot of Japanese men walking through the doors of the gate, but very few Gaijin women. She lugged a bunch of things back to Japan with her. Most of it will keep her occupied while I am work, some of it will keep me occupied while she is working on her scrapbooks.
She brought me several books to read and some of my magazines. I will probably wear the magazines out before I go home. I have already pawed through my Sail magazine a couple of times and read an article. I will probably go through it again here in a little bit.
She brought food. I now have Cheerios and pinto beans. She even brought me some La Victoria Taco Sauce. Mmmm, I got a little bit of American heaven right here.
Christina is napping right now. She went straight to bed when we got home. I bought her a slice of pizza from Costco. Katsumoto and I ate before she got in. She didn’t eat until she sat on our couch here at home.
She unpacked her bags this morning. We ate lunch and that was the last I saw of her. She has been passed out for the last three hours. It is probably good that I am used to getting up at four in the morning. I am sure she will be getting up at that time for the next week or so. I guess there is no Kyoto for us this weekend. That’s ok. The autumn leaves in Kyoto have not yet changed.

Baring--take your clothes off.
Bearing--bringing gifts. Either one works for you, huh?
Thanks for correcting him Joan - I can't keep up with him! He posts too fast!
