Around the World and the right Travel Agent

Jess missed her flight from Detroit to Chicago last night (Osaka Time). She called early this morning. Her Chicago flight was delayed and made her miss her connection to Osaka. Chrissy was on the internet and phone most of the night figuring out how to get her here and still have most of her six days in Japan. Fortunately, Chrissy found a flight through Paris to Osaka. It is funny how the ticket agents were saying that she couldn't find a route that would get Jess here before Tuesday, but Chrissy could. Chrissy called Jess just as she got to the ticket counter and gave her the information. Jess called back a couple of minutes later with the good news. She will be the first in our immediate family to fly over every degree of longitude. She will be a real 'around the world' traveller. She will arrive in Nishinomiya tomorrow morning, about 12 hours later than she would have had she made her connection. I am glad I got my own travel agent.
